Good day, St. James!

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9

Do you like being in control? Fixing things? Even though we think we do, we are not in control of anything. Like flying on a plane to a destination, we are helpless to the person flying the plane. Thanks be to God that the pilot is Jesus. Through His death and resurrection, we are saved by grace through faith. If left up to us, we would never be able to live a life worthy of that salvation. God’s plan for salvation was greater than anyone could have thought. As high as the heavens to the earth. Because of that sacrifice, we now live reflecting His love to others. If times where loving others is difficult, we go back to Isaiah’s message for today. God’s plan for our lives is higher than anything we can think of. Fixing relationships may be on our priority list.  However, God’s plan is always loving and just.  Let His redeeming love flow through you during times when you feel you cannot fix things and give the situation to Him.
